28th September 2017. What a great day we had with our friends at Randwick Bowling Club! We came together as a district to play three bowl triples to 18 ends. The weather shone then sprinkled then shone again as six greens of women battled it out for the trophy. Clovelly won both games however Double Bay had done very well also so it was a lovely surprise to hear our names called out as the winners – by one point!
Thank you to all the district bowlers, officials and supporters and thank you to Randwick for a lovely day AND a yummy lunch! Next year we host the event!
